SPRC stands for the Staff-Parish-Relations-Committee.  This is basically the Human Resources team for the church.  This group helps the pastor, who is the overall supervisor of the paid staff, with policies and procedures, job descriptions, and performance reviews.

The team also assists our District Superintendent (the pastor's direct supervisor) with information whenever a pastoral issue or change arises.

This team should meet at least quarterly with the pastor, and more often when deemed necessary.  Those who are good with both data and people will find a good fit on the SPRC Team.

This team is elected by the congregation.  Therefore, indicating your interest is much appreciated, but do realize this process takes a while to work through.  Thanks for considering this fit with us!
