Bethel is a Certified Reconciling Congregation, which means we stand for the value and support of all of God's beloved children. We have actively taken steps to be a fully inclusive church, a place of safety and affirmation for all who enter our doors.
This also means that we actively seek to educate, sensitize, and involve ourselves in supporting those who are marginalized or oppressed.
A Justice Advocate works with others to raise issues, make changes, show support, and actively call on folks within Bethel and the community to get involved in life-changing ways. Systemic issues take time and effort; if you have a passion related to working on justice issues, then by all means, share your interest here!
