Let It Begin with Me

Jesus entrusted us with being his hands and feet in the world. He didn’t stick around to micro-manage our affairs (as if that were even possible), nor did he leave us ill-equipped or unfocused. Jesus called us together to be the church-in-action, to be people who love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Our mission is ever before us, calling us to care for the hurting world around us through relief work, development work, and justice work. In part during this worship series, we will focus on what Minnesota United Methodists in particular are doing in each of these three areas of serving our neighbors. After his resurrection, Jesus asked Peter, if he loved him, to feed his lambs; he asks the same of each of us. Indeed, let it begin with me.
