Position Available - Office Administrator
Bethel’s Church Administrator is responsible for:
Extending hospitality and care to all who enter Bethel’s doors, and acting as a key ambassador of Christ’s love to all
Producing, editing, and distributing publications and communications both within the church and with the broader community
Ensuring oversight of all administrative activities, including such things as maintaining the church calendar, answering phone, emails, and hard mail, scheduling use of the facility, keeping official church records and documents, etc.
Performing basic bookkeeping tasks to assist Treasurer and Financial Secretary
Providing direct administrative support to the Pastor
Supporting the vision, mission, ministry, and core values of the church
Hours: 20-22 per week
Availability: On-site 3-5 days per week, daytime hours
Starting pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Knowledge in (or ability to learn quickly)
MS Office suite 2010 (Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint),
ICON CMO (financial software),
gmail systems, internet, and social media are essential.
Experience preferred. A pre-employment background check is required.
