Job  Description - Childcare Coordinator 

 

The Childcare Coordinator oversees the nursery and pre-school care for children ages 9 months to 4 years old.  It is the desire of Bethel families to have professional childcare provided whenever needed.  This is a part-time, hourly paid staff position, of approximately 2-6 hours per week.  Applicants need to be available during worship services and gatherings whenever childcare may be needed (mainly weekends and evenings).  Desired talents or abilities include • Loves babies and children • Is cheerful, kind, and dependable • Has a passion for protecting, caring for, and showing the love of Christ to young ones • Good organizational skills • Able to schedule and supervise other childcare helpers as needed •

Responsibilities/Duties

1. Oversee childcare for children ages 9 months – 5 years old

2. Supervise additional childcare workers to serve in the nursery and pre-school areas, as needed.

3. Provide overall leadership for all Nursery & Toddler Ministry activities
